Summer ’16 – Onward and Upward – Sonia Cornwall/Joe Plaskett/Vivien Cowan/Devereux Hodgson/Dru Hodgson

Featuring the works of Vivien Cowan, Sonia Cornwall, Dru Hodgson and Devereux Hodgson and Joseph Plaskett, this show celebrates the art and history of the Onward Ranch. Show ends August 27th – this is a don’t miss!  The opening night we were fortunate to have four A.Y. Jackson pieces gracing our foyer walls.  These pieces were on loan for the evening and had been purchased many years ago from the Cornwall family.   They were beautiful examples of his work and gallery guests were thrilled to see these amazing paintings by a member of the illustrious Group of 7.   Vivien Cowan’s travel sketch book (seen below) was also a favourite of gallery visitors.   Some spent hours looking through it – thanks to the family for allowing us to have it here at the Station House.   It was admired and revered.
